United States

1.) Automatic Birthright citizenship.

2.) Green card lottery. (give citizens of certain countries a chance to win a Green Card)

3.) Siblings can file for foreign siblings to enter America. (Example~ Your British brother marries an American and goes on to get American citizenship. He now can file to bring his Siblings to America)

4.) Parents can file to bring adult children to America. (Example~ Your British mother marries an American and goes on to become an American. she now can file to bring her adult kids to America)

5.) Children over 21 can file for their parent's.

Vs.

United Kingdom

1.) Ban Automatic Birthright citizenship in 1983.

2.) Got nothing like the United States Green Card lottery.

3.) Siblings can’t file for foreign siblings to enter the United Kingdom. (Example~ my brother marries a British citizen and goes on to get British citizenship. He can’t file to bring me to the UK)

4.) Parents can’t file to bring their adult children to the United Kingdom. (Example~ my mother marries a British citizen and goes on to become a British citizen. she can’t file to bring her adult kids to the UK)

5.) It’s rare that the British government allow Children to bring their foreign parents to the UK.

UK is better because it's an island, making it easier to manage. However, since USA has a poor nation just south of it, we can accept/decline (deport) cheap labor as we please. So, I would have to say that USA has a better immigration system.

the british allow evryone in, regardless of criminal record. In fact the bigger waste of space you are the more likely you are to get in the country and the more benefits you get. They say there stopping it. Hmmm. Sure they are. They only let people in who hate britain now. Thats the criteria. You must hate britain, preach hatred, waste tax payers money, not work. Bring all there sponging family and friends over to destroy the economy.... Governments a joke. At least some countries insist you must have no criminal record for a certain time, must speak the language, and follow there countrys rules. Foreighners complain if we fly our own flag. Im no racist... But it takes the piss. People work to support them who come to exploit everything.

What may be more of a factor is that the UK, like a number of other countries striving for political correctness in their immigration, support multiculturalism in their immigration policies. The US has always had the idea of the melting pot, striving to be Americans first.
