Of all developed countries, America's immigration laws are, probably, the easiest on newcomers.
Many countries make things easy to descendants of their nationals -- for example, Israel grants citizenship to any and all arriving Jews, if they ask for it. Germany treats any Germans like that -- even if they are descendants of Germans, who emigrated centuries ago.
Other places -- like Australia and Canada -- make things fairly easy for QUALIFIED immigrants: if you possess a valuable trait (college education, low average age of your family), you'll qualify, otherwise -- no.
But for general case America is, likely, the easiest to get into. Still, there should be even fewer restrictions -- as in the days of the Ellis Island, anybody, who is not a criminal and knows a trade that can support them, should be allowed in.
