Cop pulled me over on my bicycle wtf?

so i got pulled over on my bicycle which i use for excercise tonight. i actually do know that they can pull over bikes but this was ridiculous i mean these cops must have been real bored. first of all it was in a residential neighborhood. they searched my backpack just took it from me accused me of stealing the backpack which ive had for years. like there was a backpack factory near me so stupid. accused me of being a criminal excuse i pay taxes and am a good person. has a history major i really feel like i was a jew and these cops were nazi's which is how feel about american law efforcement. anyway i didnt get any trouble they let me go only after realizing they could not **** me over. it makes me sad that cops feel the need to harass people instead of helping good citzens. are country is going downhill fast in every way.

While it sucks that they pulled you over for something smaller, they still have quotas to make. It's kinda weird that they didn't give you a ticket but on the other hand they may have just gotten an alert saying that there was a robbery near by and the suspect fled on a bicycle. I once was pulled over when I wasn't doing anything wrong and they asked if they could search my car and I said since I had nothing to hide and hadn't done anything wrong that they could go ahead. They didn't search my car but informed me there had just been a robbery that had matched the description of my car.

It depends on what time you were out riding, where I live it is 3:30AM right now and you posted this question 20mins ago so what time were you riding? Riding your bike after 10PM at night even in a residential neighborhood can be suspicious because there is no reason for people to be out that late. Not saying its against the law to exercise late at night but don't complain when they ask you what you are doing out so late.

They weren't harassing you they were doing their job, if they only searched black people that look nasty then half the crimes in this world would never get solved. Every one is a suspect until proven innocent because you never can tell nowadays who is a criminal and who isn't.

So the fact that a victim had told other cops that a guy like you on a bike had just taken his backpack and the cops heard that over the radio makes no difference to you.

WTF if you get robbed or shot by some guy on a bike I guess I gotta hope the cops do not try to find your stuff or the guy so they don't get upset.
