Cops stole my liscense, charged with possession of marijuana (in canada WTF) ANY HELP?

HI there,
Today I got pulled over in my friends car and there was weed in the glove box, when he asked for the registration of course he smelled it and eventually got us out of the car and searched it. All there was was 4-5 grams, we never said that there wasn't anything illegal in there car and when he asked where it was we showed him. We were honest and very easy to deal with but he still charged both of us with possession of marijuana and gave my friend a speeding ticket. The cop had initially said that we were going 114 when he pulled us over but he wrote 113 on the ticket, we were in an 80 zone.
Im just wondering if theres any way I can clear the charge for possession.

Also, the cop, after making us wait close to an hour, never gave us back our licenses. he took them both from us and after he gave back our wallets and gave us our tickets he asked if we had any further questions, not once, but four times, each time we said no. eventually we left and after a while we realized that that cop had our wallets.

Serves you right for failing to conceal your drugs properly and cooperating with police.

Also, you broke the "one crime at a time" rule. All that for speeding? was it worth it?

I've course you cannot be cleared. If he sees you at that speed he doesn't need proof, he only need to look at the radar and charge you. You don't even need the radar in court.

In my country your friend would have lost his license automatically for 28 days, and had that time extended in court. I don't know why he took yours. Go get it back because there is no reason for him to have taken it. It won't effect your charges though.

He took your wallet because your license is going to be suspended, or already was suspended. When you go to court, the best thing to do is plead guilty. Since you were just in the car, and guilty by association, the judge could possibly lower the fine. Also, the judge will let you know if your license has been suspended for sure. There would be no other reason for the officer to take your license.
