Criminal Justice Jobs?

Im about to start my degree in CJ. Trying to decide on weather to do the law enforcement emphasis or the homeland security emphasis. What i would like to do is something like narcotics work or tracking down fugitives or investigation. But, what jobs are in homeland security, and with homeland security is that just on the boarders or are there homeland security jobs in every state? What would be best if you would like to be a U.S Marshall.
