Debate: do guys have equal "credits" over the baby ...?

Postby adusa37 » Thu Aug 02, 2012 2:18 am

i'm just saying, i think the females should have much more rights to the baby because we're the ones who carried them for 9 months! Sure sure, guys say that they helped make the baby, but so did we. So cancel out the chromosomes argument. Anything else? Nope. Girls are the ones who suffer mood swings, uncomfortable sleeping, and sore ankles while all the guys did was give sperm.

What do you guys think? Don't girls kinda have 75% of the credit?

And btw, i cannot stand it when guys are rude to, slander, or abuse girls because who are the ones who made u in the first place?! Like SRSLY guys, just cuz naturally you can overpower a girl doesn't mean you should--remember who made you (A FEMALE). <- just a little "food-for-the-thought"

Sorry for my raging :)

no joint credit, without him there would be no baby, also raising the child assuming they are around are there for everything have the same sleepless nights and nappies and worry, it's not a competition it's a journey together, with a life you created together

Debate: do guys have equal "credits" over the baby ...?

Postby valentino » Thu Aug 02, 2012 2:34 am

It truly depends on the guy. All of my pregnancies were easy, and my husband has been there every step of the way. Whether it was doing late night fast food runs to satisfy my cravings or just in general being a full hands on father. He lets me sleep in and take naps while he watches the children. Just because you had the baby in your stomach for nine months, doesn't mean you have more "credit" over the baby. It was also your choice to try to conceive a baby unless it was honestly an accident. Maybe I just got lucky with my husband but if anything, I believe he should be the one with more "credit" over all my children. We both have equal "credits" but if we had to choose who would have to have more, it would most definitely be him! I'm a hands on mom too, but he helps a lot and he's been so supportive.
