Dell Computer Erased My Hard Drive Without Asking My Permission. How Can I Get Compensation. It Cost Me Over $2,000

My costs to recover the lost info was over $2,000. I was promised by their customer care I would be reimbursed, but in the end they rudely said they would not pay a penny. Is there a consumer group to complain to? What can I do?

A plug in USB extra hardrive....large one...is an easy way to back up all your computers, and especially costly items.Every manufacture has clauses legally that they are not responcible for personal items when fixing and repairing: It is a dead end street!Blessings.......Annlee
