According to the wording in the law...

-- States may form compacts to facilitate interstate sales of
non-group group policies policies.

-- Policies are only subject to laws & regulations of state
where policy is issued, EXCEPT:
? Market conduct
? Unfair trade practices
? Consumer protection standards (including rating rules)
? Disputes relating to performance of contract.

Don't try to reason with conservatives. They still think the people they elected in 2010 are working on the jobs platform that they ran on.

Whenever a conservative parrots "Repeal and replace Obamacare" and is asked "Replace with what?" crickets will be the answer

This issue was really more addressed by the Obmama stimulus plan $548 million in recovery grants will run out by 2015

Federal stimulus funds are paying to build or expand systems enabling health care providers within each state to share patient information, but state officials are concerned about how to keep paying for the programs once the federal money runs out.
