Do we need to increase our guest worker program?

I agree the laws we have are great, but also increase the guest worker program that Clinton cut (illegal immigration dramatically increased after that happened). If we can hire more workers LEGALLY from Mexico and central America we can collect there taxes and know where they are and they would have no need of sneaking here and bringing their families. Many bring their families because it's inconvenient to sneak over back and forth.


At this point our farms in southwest all the way to Texas survive off of foreign labor, just we need to do it legally. If the farm workers want, we can even provide a way to get in line to become a citizen, but not just hand it to them.

Increasing it wont really do much good since our immigration offices are backed up by years and thats the prime cause of illegal immigration. Its not that these people can't come and work in the US legally its just that they wont want to bother actually waiting their turn to do it legally which is my main reason for being anti illegal. My parents migrated here legally and waited YEARS to get their residency and citizenship, so what illegals are doing is a giant slap in the face to all legal immigrants that pretty much went through the same crap that they did if not more since they actually had to pay taxes and other fees while enjoying no government benefits while their applications were being processed.

Basically it doesn't matter how big you make the glass, there's only so much water than can pass through a funnel at any given time.

We should also have more programmers and engineers from India to drive down the wages of US college grads with high tech degrees, It is not fair that they earn more than other people and it reduces the profits of businesses to pay them so much. Maybe we could also have a guest worker for CEOs and Bankers. We could probably find some the would work of only a couple 100 thousand a year
