I'm glad that Arizona is finally taking immigration matters into their own hands, since the Federal Government is refusing to do anything about it right now.

Many people don't know that in order to be screened under this law, you have to be commiting a crime first.

SO if an illegal is say...Speeding, and get's caught by a Patrol Officer? That officer can check their citizenship status. It's not like a cop can just pull you over because you're Mexican, people.

it,s a sad commentary on our federal government when states have to use state laws based on existing federal statues to deal with a serious problem. massive illegal immigration from mexico is a problem. the law is not racist. are poles, chinese, australians, etc. swarming our southern border states? mexico encourages this behaviour. people don,t allow legislatures to pass laws unless they feel there is a need for them. this is not about "reform". this is about rampant abuse of immigration law.

I disagree because I know for a fact that it is part of the Neo-Nazi agenda for America and also because I don't mind poor Mexicans coming here to get better opportunities and to better their and their families' lives.

I don't! It infringes on my own rights. It will also use up a lot of money that could be used elsewhere where it's more needed. It clogs up law enforcement from doing their civic duties, this is a federal enforcement "job" not up to 50 different states to make 50 different law (and laws within those laws)... I could go on and on and on all day about this! It's the job of the Federal Gvmnt, period.

ADD: The People didn't get to vote or veto!
