Do You Believe In "murphy's Law" ?

Postby Enapay » Mon Jan 06, 2014 3:58 pm

I am a strong believer in Murphy's Law ... It's a one hundred% guarantee with me. If I had any luck, I'd have no luck at all(or anything like that!).

Do You Believe In "murphy's Law" ?

Postby Hud » Wed Jan 08, 2014 8:06 am

I toy with it, but don't actually believe in it. I do, nevertheless, think in the energy of the thoughts. If we believe one thing strongly sufficient, we stand a excellent opportunity of co-making it in our lives. Thoughts have inventive power. They're pretty harmless until we start believing them in our hearts. When that takes place, and we add emotional conviction to them, they are empowered to develop. Thoughts then start to establish themselves in our reality. If you are a robust believer in Murphy's Law, you are assuring it will continue to manifest for you. You may want to begin reading up on how the mind performs. Its fascinating.   Skylight 31 months ago

Do You Believe In "murphy's Law" ?

No, I believe in Jesus Christ, and He says that this world is cursed because of our disobedience: all things we want to do will require work, exactly as God told Adam way back when. Captain Murphy of the U.S. Air Force merely re-worded the law of entropy, which could also be called the law of consequences.   danielpauldavis 31 months ago

The Peter Principle: "in any organization, an individual will rise to his personal level of incompetence and stay there."I definitely believe in the Peter Principle, having worked in large corporations all my life and wondered how the blazes my supervisors ever got their jobs. I don't know if I believe that they "stay there." Sometimes we get lucky and they are fired, only after doing a great deal of harm.   MaryAnn 31 months ago
