Do You Have To Pay To Use Wi-fi?

Postby Monty » Mon Feb 24, 2014 10:19 am

Like when you are out, and your mobile device(not cell phone) detects a open Wi-Fi network, do you have to pay for it in order to use it? Or is it just free?

Do You Have To Pay To Use Wi-fi?

if your laptop,ipad/pod detects a wi/fi connection, and you connect successfully, thats perfectly legal/free(in PA anyway).. If a subscriber doesnt have a secure connection/requires a sec key, anyone in range can connect to it.. Connections you aren't permitted to use will be locked and a sec key is needed to connect.. Hope this has helped..   pachicka 13 months ago

Do You Have To Pay To Use Wi-fi?

According to where you are, it's probably free if you can access it. I sometimes go to Starbucks or McDonald's or Jamba Juice if I'm out and need to use the internet. The town I just moved to has free wifi in 4 of the parks, as well as the library. And the town I work in has wifi in every library.   gabrielhusseinnova 13 months ago
