Do you sometimes wonder whether AP news is sucking it's Obama koolaid straight from the meat straw?

The public panned it. Republicans obstructed it. Many Democrats fled from it. Even so, the session of Congress now drawing to a close was the most productive in nearly half a century.

Obama has also signed into law at least a dozen other pieces of legislation of significance. They include:

_Making college loans more affordable.

_The Cash for Clunkers program that helped rejuvenate the auto industry.

_New consumer protections for credit card users.

_Making it easier for women to challenge pay discrimination.

_Increasing federal regulation of tobacco products.

_Cracking down on waste in Pentagon weapons acquisition.

_Making attacks based on sexual orientation a federal hate crime.

_Giving businesses tax incentives to hire unemployed workers.

_Tax credits for first-time homeowners.

So where is the love?

YET FAILS TO MENTION THE POSSIBLE REASONS WHY?

I wouldn't call being destructive, being productive.

By that measure, a mass murder would be very productive, if he killed many people, etc.

Not saying that "everything" passed was bad, but the vast majority was; contributing to further debt, taxes, dependence. So, a net loss for America

_Making college loans more affordable. (Who pays for this? Think about it!!!) FAIL

_The Cash for Clunkers program that helped rejuvenate the auto industry.(Absolutely terrible idea. Only made foreign car companies richer, net LOSS)FAIL

_New consumer protections for credit card users.(Again, how does this affect costs, and who pays for it? It's part of a terrible, terrible financial reform law, granting never ending bailouts) FAIL

_Making it easier for women to challenge pay discrimination. Not familiar with this, but betting it's a bad idea, what are the details, curious to see

_Increasing federal regulation of tobacco products. (Who does this really hurt? comsumers; FAIL

_Cracking down on waste in Pentagon weapons acquisition. This appears to be a good idea. Is it workable? now "That" is a good question. I've never seen a government agency able to audit iteslf; Potential EPIC FAIL

_Making attacks based on sexual orientation a federal hate crime. FAIL FAIL FAIL. Hate crimes laws are ridiculous. It's either illegal or its not. Thought policing should have no part in it!!! EPIC, VERY SCARY FAIL!!!

_Giving businesses tax incentives to hire unemployed workers. Good Idea

_Tax credits for first-time homeowners. Good Idea
