Does A Co Signer On The Rent Have Privileges Also?

Postby Lysander » Sat Jun 07, 2014 2:21 am

I am in NC. I closed a rent with my child although she and her infant are shown as tenants. The dog owner required this as she's just 19 and simply began a brand new work. She's today allowing her sweetheart stick with her, from the conditions of the rent. I'm worried they'll ruin the condo once they struggle. Do I've any legitimate to inform him to maneuver on? May I click charges if he or they split windows, impact pockets, that kind of factor? Thanks for almost any guidance given.

Does A Co-signer On A Lease Have Rights Too?

You closed on as protection for outstanding lease and problems. There's no necessity any privileges like a tenant.<br />
The main responsibility would be to your child. When you have to pay for the landlord for problems that the child is incapable or reluctant to pay for himself, and people problems were brought on by the sweetheart, you can test to recuperate the cash in the boyfriend.

What does your lease say? Did you simply sign on to guarantee the rent and for damages beyond the security deposit?

Does A Co-signer On A Lease Have Rights Too?

Update to particular condition. Sweetheart was caught yesterday for asault on my child along with a room doorway was broken-in the procedure. Ideally she gets a restraining order, but when not, may I make him abandon if he returns? May I find restitution for that doorway? If he fails more material, may I document a criticism against him?
