Yeah I use them. I've had auto insurance with them for several years now and am very satisfied with their service. Two years ago, a pedestrian blindly walked into the intersection I was passing through and collided with my car. The person started legal proceedings against me. After two years, the legal hell has finally ended thanks to a great attorney TSC assigned me to. I would highly recommend TSC. A couple of weeks ago, I filled out an online quote with TSC Direct. The quote I was given was about $200 a year cheaper than with State Farm, which is my current insurance company. Although the quoted premium rate was cheaper, I was satisfied with my current insurance company and decided to stay with them. However, over the course of the past couple of days, someone from TSC Direct has been calling me and leaving messages on my voice mail. I returned their call yesterday morning, and after waiting on hold for about 10 minutes, I spoke with someone who told me that my insurance quote with TSC Direct has been adjusted downward due to the fact that I had previously failed to notify them that I had completed a Defensive Driver Course. My new quote was $300 cheaper than what I was paying with State Farm. I agreed to go online and complete an application for insurance(which asked many detailed questions which I have never seen on an automobile insurance application before). When I submitted my application, I received an email which said that I had been approved. About 2 hours later, someone called me up and started asking even more questions(such as... "What Long Island Rail Road Station do you get on at when traveling to work?" and "After arriving at Penn Station, what subway line do you get on? and "What subway station do you get off at?"). I answered all of their questions, but after being put on hold for about 5 minutes, I was told that I didn't qualify for insurance coverage with TSC Direct, as "they couldn't verify my mileage patterns". Say what? I thought that I had already been approved! I have a clean driving record, so I don't know how I went from being approved to being denied! I really don't know what their game was, but they wasted a lot of my time and I am a little pissed off!If they ever call me again, I will tell them to take their insurance company and shove it where the sun doesn't shine! Worst ever experience of my life!For homeowner insurance, I provided TSC Direct with all necessary information that matches official NYC records. TSC came back with the lowest quote of $484. Later, they said there was a mistake in calculation but I still agreed on $543 and switched from previous insurance to them. In a couple of weeks I got the letter that TSC underestimated the rebuild cost of the house and the premium will now cost me $675 which is about the money I paid to my previous insurance.TSC claims that ?accurate? calculation to rebuild the house is based on the photo and measurement taken for my house. My house is a townhouse with no backyard access and standing in the middle of the curved row with the other townhouses of different shapes and sizes, therefore, the photographer?s only chance to take the photo and the measurements was from the front of my house ? how could it be that accurate!? TSC doesn?t want me to send them NYC official records. What they want is that I should obtain an appraisal of the house which would cost me another $200-$300.What a disgusting way of luring new customers in TSC Direct trap! vladk 32 months ago

They are terrible!!! They gave us a quote that was just slightly lower than the other companies so we decided to go with them but it was a big mistake. They repeatedly asked for excessive information and documentation because they lost the original copies and then they inspected our house and sent a nasty letter that if we don't fix the hazard they are dropping us in 15 days. The hazard in question was our old driveway. We said we would have it sealed but they said no it must be completely torn up and replaced which is ridiculous given the time frame. They are completely unreasonable and have terrible customer service. Rini 37 months ago
