Of course we need laws for abortion.

That's why it's illegal for a person to abort at home. It needs to be done in a medical facility where a trained professional can see what needs to be done, and do it in a way that there is less of a risk all around.

We already have laws for when and how abortions can be performed. These laws are to protect the life of the woman and the life of a potentially viable fetus.

It depends at what stage the growing embryo is considered a human. And at that point, once the baby is killed, then it is murder.
