I'm not a facebook junkie. I believe I have about 50 photos up on facebook. That is any where from my random friends,my engagement, our wedding, pregnancy. (over appox 4 years I have had a facebook) I got online today & noticed my sister in law posted 140 photos of my baby shower. Now come on a baby shower isn't that eventful that ya need that many photos. Some were of me reaching over a table with my huge baby belly getting chips, not smiling nothing. Really I feel like a hippo already photos like that don't help! Also she posted photos of my 93 year old grandma that were total candid shots. Also of my co-workers she doesn't know.
I sent her message saying what ones she could leave up (7 total) the rest I wanted taken down.
This brings me to my next point.....How do I tell both my sister in laws & my mother in law I DO NOT WANT PHOTOS OF MY BABY on facebook!!
I already have the message saved on my phone that I will send from the hospital (giving baby details) saying *this info & photo are NOT to be forwarded or shared via any social media site!
I feel that my child does not need to be on facebook for their 900+ friends to see. I have like 200 friends all family, close friends & a few coworkers. (90 family) & my settings set very high so people can't see photos.
What is the best way to handle this? (babys birth & the rest of his/her life)
