Florida drivers permit?

I passed my laws and signs test in school, but now I need to get my actual permit. I have an opportunity to get it Tomorrow with my friend and her parent. But Im not sure if I need my parent or not; Im not sure why I would, all they need to do is the drug and alcohol test, and sight and hearing test. Also I know that I need 2 things to prove my residence and my SS#. I have my birth certificate but I dont know what else to use, Would my school ID work? You have to be a resident of the district(implying residence of US) to have that. So, Do I need a parent and what would be good proof of residence?

you would need to have a bill to prove residence.If you do not have one under your name.If you do not have one under your name then you would need a parent with their bill.It can be cell phone,electricity anything with your address.
