Got pulled over and received a citation but got a warning no ticket.?

got pulled over doing 59 in a 45 zone. cop gave me a citation ticket and a court date.
but he said i am just getting a warning for the speeding.
what should i expect once i go to the court?

a citation is a ticket.if he took all your info.and you signed any paper he gave you a copy of,you got a speeding ticket. you don't get a court date for a warning. if you don't want to fight the ticket, just pay the fine.
