Got rejected to prom, whats next?

Postby beacher » Sat May 19, 2012 1:16 pm

I asked this girl out to prom with a rose and a message on it for her to find. She first gave me a response of "I'll think about it". We don't know each other that well but before prom I wanted to get a chance to know her more...the thing she doesn't know is...it isn't just prom, I wanted a relationship, it led up to this because I'd always catch her staring at me and her catching me. I noticed her starting to dress like me in my trademark leather jacket and jeans as well.
After a day; She said it was sweet that I asked her out to prom but she'd rather save the experience for going with her friends(shes a underclassmen). I responded in my always nice and polite attitude being understanding.
I was also restoring a 1967 chevy impala to add to the experience.
However, now I feel mislead, broken, and kind of like my heart has been torn. I feel like somebody changed her mind, today at lunch she disappeared, I also noticed this other guy(that I really hate) that knows her has disappeared as well...were all in Band.
Besides the car, I really don't feel like going now...I wanted to go with her, no one else, I wanted her in the seat next to me....
After I asked her, later in the day, it was as if she couldn't stop staring at me but now this...it's unreal.
I don't know what to do now.

Not like it would of lasted after HS...find a different girl and have fun. Don't let some random chick damper your day.

well my friend, i know this must be heart breaking and painful for you for her to have done this. Honestly though I dont think girls are all that important in life. Always try to be independant in life. If you are happy and plan on remaining happy and unhurt then the best thing to do is base your happiness on things you enjoy doing and not things that are dependant on others...meaning if you want to be happy perhaps go play some sports or for your prom day plan a picnic with barbecue with your other guy friends to a park as oposed to going to prom...if your friends dont go then you can go with your family members or alone to some theme park or movies or even fishing!!! do something you havent done and enjoy it all by urself! sometimes its best being alone and having your own personal time as oposed to getting into mess with other people...honestly being alone is kind of much more fun than hanging with people becuz i personally find people to be a burden to have around as they lead to many inconveniences..

Finish restoring the car. Other girls will live it. Go to the prom, have a blast as there is someone out there for you
