Graham Opposes Doj Lawsuit Against Arizona. So What Do You Think Now?

?The people of Arizona are not the issue. It is the failure of the federal government to secure our borders that is the real problem. http://lgraham.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=PressRoom.PressReleases&ContentRecord_id=ada60684-802a-23ad-4824-ebf27b207fcf

The people of Arizona are not the problem. It is the failure of the federal government to secure our borders that is the real problem. That has always been the problem regardless of which political party has held the White House. It's a third rail that neither party wants to touch.

Arizona now has the highest car burglary, armed home invasions and kidnapping rates in the United States. All of these trends are fueled by illegal immigration by Mexican gangs and cartels, who themselves made Mexico such a mess that 10% of Mexico's population is now living in the United States. Arizona's law is a copy of federal law, with stricter standards on when someone can be checked for ID. If Arizona's law is racist, so is our immigration law. But our immigration law isn't racist. It just isn't being enforced. We can't afford 10-12 million illegal aliens working here when 10% of the population is unemployed. The over-crowding in the ER by them and their children is used as justification for Obamacare. The over-crowding and endlessly rising school taxes to pay for the education of their children is hurting those who pay for it(like my school district). Arizona wouldn't have to enforce immigration law if the federal government did. The choice of the DOJ to sue Arizona now proves that the government doesn't just fail to care about enforcing its law, it wants these law breakers here. They take our jobs, our space in the ER, our school taxes, our hospital taxes - and then demand more rights than citizens. That is unethical.

nope. A politician that states he or she is against illegal immigration is quickly called a racist in so many words. It is all about the votes they need to get elected or re elected.basically politicians are whores. :)

doens't matter - fed won't enforce their laws, now seek to punish a state that does Arizona now has the highest car burglary, armed home invasions and kidnapping rates in the United States.
