Guardianship For My Father

I'd encourage one to utilize some pace to straighten out your choices --you'll find  too many stories of court-appointed adults  who receive  costs for achieving this function who burn thru a classic individuals or wards resources pretty darn easily.
In a complicated feeling you're a little fortunate --Texas is approximately 1 of 20 states that doesn't possess a doorway to touch a grownup child to treatment for an indigent  guardian --not that Daddy reaches that  stage--yet.

You might utilize, but if the judge might agree you is something which no body here can definitely anticipate. The robbery sentence will be a problem for the courtroom due to the worry that may grab from your own dad if granted control of his funds. One possible means to fix that might be for you really to be appointed as protector (in order to get actual treatment of him) but have another person appointed as his conservator to deal with his financial matters. It is best to consult an elder law lawyer within the condition where your father exists for advice.
