Has a single gun abolitionist ever been able to answer the biggest flaw to their theory?

Namely if a guy is already willing to break the law by killing dozens of people and suiciding himself ;what the hell makes you think such a person would ever remotely consider obeying your stupid no guns law?

Yay...lets leave the law abiding citizens without firearms while the criminals and psychopaths hoard them to pick off citizens like sitting ducks.Baseball bat welding homeowner got a gun toting robber stalking him?

Well now the cops are the only other ones with guns so he should call them perhaps.
They'll be there in 10 minutes..long enough to let the robber get away and find the homeowner in a puddle of blood.

No.

Gun control is not about guns, it's about control.

It's very simple. We'll try to explain it to you....you make the laws for having a gun SO severe that people won't carry them when they commit a crime. Why don't you study England. The reason the cops there don't carry guns is because the criminals don't either.

If guns are simply not available.... how is that a flaw?

Tell me this... no matter how WILLING you are to go to the moon tomorrow... how are you going to get there if a ride if not available?? Same goes for guns.... no matter HOW BAD a British teenager wants a Glock... he just ain't gonna get one.

Your logic is flawed. Not theirs. And I am NOT a "gun abolitionist."

Guns are essentially illegal in Japan (sans hunting rifles).
Why don't they have rampages on the same level we do in the U.S.? They have all the same problems as those in the U.S.. They even have the same obsession with violence (in fact, anyone that's familiar with their horror films knows their obsession is worse).

But it's a rare instance that one person gets shot by another, let alone someone goes and kills dozens.

Hmmm...

"lets leave the law abiding citizens without firearms while the criminals, yada, yada, yada. YAWN! This is the same lame talking point I've been hearing for decades. It's meaningless rhetoric and nothing more than an attempt at evading the issue. And by the way, there are very few 'gun abolitionists'. The notion that all liberals want to get rid of all guns is a lot of crap.

Our "stupid" gun laws are for us to be able to defend ourselves against an evil government, such as the one we have now.

Easy.

Almost all guns used in crimes were obtained legally. Even with all those laws in place to prevent criminals from getting them.

You are exactly correct. Gun control whack jobs need took look at the US constitution which gives Americans the right to have and bear arms.

Disarming the citizenery and taking control of all the media and communications systems have throughout the entire history of the world been the first things tyrants and dictators do when they obtain power.

Hmmmm! There seems to be something familiar there.
