I do believe I have experienced a hear palpitation today. Now normally, I would have just ignored it, but it just happened again, and, it also happened about a year ago. I'm just on my computer, sitting up straight, when all of a sudden my heart stops beating, for almost a second, and then starts up like a revving motorcycle, beating extremely fast like a drum roll for about half a second before turning to normal.
During this experience, I kind of go feint, my chest tightens, and my heart usually feels like it has an abnormally large amount of bubbles traveling through it, again for half a second.
Now the first time this ever happened I was sitting in Math class in grade 9 (last year) just minding my own business, doing some work from the textbook, and then all of a sudden, my body tightened, I keeled over in my chair as if some unstoppably massive force was punching me in the chest, my vision went black, and I felt that strange sensation of bubbles. This first action happened for as long as 3 seconds.
ever since then, for the rest of the school year, I've felt something that feels like bubbles in the bottom of my lungs, which caused great discomfort.
I eat moderately healthy, I stay away from high sugar/salt products like pop, chips etc. And I get a least 9 hours of sleep every night. I do not smoke/drink alcohol/do drugs or anything of the sort. My physical activity rate is very low however. The only other explanation is that the asbestos in the walls of my school is seeping into the classrooms, or, I'm just dying, or extremely unfit.
I would like some insight on this problem as to why it is happening and what I could do about it.
I am only 15 years old.
