good luck finding someone to answer all those at once, maybe you should space them out over time or something. Although I'll briefly do a few that stand out.

World War I had a terrible ending, it destroyed the pride and economy of Germany. The Treaty of Versailles that ended it would be a major cause of WW2.

It was a cold war because the US and USSR never fought directly.

Japan wasn't defeated before the atomic bombs, unless you get into the whole argument that we wanted unconditional surrender, to which that would be the answer to the question.

The bay of pigs was where the US funded former Cubans to start a rebellion in Cuba.

Kennedy's dad had mob connections or Kennedy's view on Vietnam are some of the theories.

In the 70s the dollar went off the gold standard, and OPEC countries created a "shortage" of oil.
