Horse costume class ideas? PLEASE?

I need Ideas for a horse/rider costume for a show going on august 5th. My horse is a 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. I want an idea that is extremely creative and unusual. I have a pretty red dress and would possibly like an idea where i can wear it, but i'm welcome to any and all creative ideas! Thanks so much!

beautiful horse and my cousin was in a show and did his whole princess theme. wierd ik but it blew the socks off of the judges and she won 1st place(; good luck!!

This one is kinda hard, but anyways, you could dress your horse up as a sheep, and you can wear a little bo peep dress and everything. haha thought it was cute. (:

What about Little Red Riding Hood? You could wear the red dress and be the girl, and dress your horse up as a wolf (use a gray blanket and hoodie, a fly mask, and make fake "ears" to put on him). I saw someone do this at a Halloween show one time, and it turned out cute.

ETA: Since it's a fancy dress, I do like the celebrity/Marilyn Monroe idea, if you can figure out how to dress up your horse as a limo. Maybe a white blanket with some sort of cardboard attached to the front and back that's shaped like the front and back of a car?

You could do like a dark vampire and dark horse or unicorn look
princess and a dragon or make your horse a knight with tinfoil and cardboard
little devils
the queen of hearts
little red riding hood
you can do something Victorian style

Edit i love the Marilyn idea another idea is something like a pin up girl get a red feather boa and dress the horse up as well in red and fancy costume pearls and sparkles poof up his hair you wear long red gloves and costume jewelry bows and ribbons flowers it would be a real eye catcher
you could also incorporate like army colors or the flag that was really big with pin up girls also you could do a spin on an old school cow girl with a fake revolver red cow girl hat and red cowboy boots

You can be Thing 1 and Thing 2. Wear your red dress and mane put some blue fringe in you and your horses hair and put a red blanket on your horse and cut out thing 1 and thing 2.

Me and my horse last year were Southern Bells i wore a pretty pink dress a cowboy hat with my boots and my horse had flowers draped over her neck and i braided her tail in to a fishtail and made her look as clean as possible and we came in 2nd! The first place Was a little boy dressed as a knight. Which was super cute! With your Red dress you could go as a superstar/Movie star, Dorthy and Toto,You could get some gold jewelry and a scarf and go as gypsy's,or Little red riding hood . Thats all i got! Hope you have fun!

This might sound a bit stupid but, Ive seen someone do this and won :p Dress your horse up as a person and you dress up as your horse :3 I think the sheep and bo peep is a good one though :)

Marylin would be cool! Or you can be prom dates!!! He could wear a red Bowtie, and you both could have a sash saying prom queen and prom king!!! That would be adorable!!!!!! ???? he's beautiful btw!

Beautiful horse!
I've been dressing up horses for Halloween for years now, and these are some of the ones I've done:
Ice Skater (tutu made of blue fabric from Walmart, ice skate shaped cardboard cutouts on each side of the horse's leg, blue garland around the bridle, and the same blue fabric for the tutu covering the saddle pad)
Bumble Bee (children's bumble bee costume wings and yellow/black striped material used as "polo wraps")
Clown (afro wig, glasses w/ clown nose, fabric from Walmart, spraypaint, and rainbow colored tinsel)
Hippie (afro wig, psychadelic material for bell bottoms on front legs, spraypaint, material to cover saddle pad)
