How can I get health insurance?

Me and my family are moving to Arizona in August, we are now living in Illinois and are receiving medicaid, but we are forced to move out of state for some personal reasons we make about $2,100 per month but that is because my Dad is on Social Security Disability cause of a back injury when he was working, our rent will be around $1,000 and that take about 1/2 of our money and there is no way we could afford health insurance as well as getting everything else

You'll probably qualify for Medicaid in AZ as well. Your family will need to contact the Illinois welfare department and cancel the Medicaid when you leave the state. When you get to AZ and establish residency here your family can apply for Medicaid here. You must cancel the first one before you can apply for the second one.

You have to apply again in Arizona in the county where you will reside for Medicaid. It is called AHCCCS. I dont know the income limits in Arizona but they may be lower than Illinois for Medicaid. Maybe you should find a less expensive place to rent. I hope you are going to work to help out.
