How could some people have the nerve to not respect or thank our law enforcment and armed forces?

Im not going to get into the whole story but what is wrong with people that they call these people trash? In all seriousness do they have mental problems or just like low class or raised by bad parents? Im not talking about stupid drunk people Im talking just everyday civilians who use the internet to try and ban firearms and criticize people like our police. My family has alot of police officers in fact my grandpa was in world war 2 my dad a cop my brother training to be a cop and maybe me being a cop when I finish school. My sisters husband a cop currently Anyway that being said he has a youtube video and the comments are just messed up. Saying our nation has no idea what there doing and such. Do these people even relize what it would be like without these people? Whats your personal view on them?

Well some are against the war and target the military because they don't protest against it. Thats my guess.

Cops are targeted because they enforce the law. Cops who are in a boring area with no action tend to pull over anyone who does a minor traffic violation. I would know since I live in one of those areas. The cops in my area just love picking on people. Like when 911 is called for someone who is hurt I hear like 10 cops cars got to that call. They are really bored here

I disagree with them. I honor and respect our military. I think cops are just doing their job and don't make the rules(some i don't agree with).

This is why we have the 1st amendment. They have a right to say they don't like or respect both military and police, and there is nothing wrong about it.
I am currently in the army and I'll be honest i can't stand both cops and military as people who into those field are not the creme of the crop of their generation. For every person who did it to serve their country or community there are 10 who went that route as they were not able to succeed in more rewarding fields. Usually the ones who are good at what they do end up finding themselves into the ranks of special units rather then stick around with the majority of the force.

Those kind of people are to be expected in a free country such as this. I gotta say those politically correct and worldwide people are taking it way too far now, i might actually support making america a little more tightened up about the rights and constitutions, of course not to the point of china, but people shouldnt be allowed to say some things they say about our country, armed forces, history, etc just plain out loud in the middle of the public or internet, no other country does that but us

I'm 16 and I believe my generation is full of stupid ignorant little kids. My father was a soldier and I guess I just came to believe that these people are the real life super hero's. If you've seen the movie "The Home of the Brave" with Samuel L. Jackson, his son in the movie is what today's youth believe. We think war is wrong and we have no business in taking the lives of people.

The military do what they have to do to keep these people safe. There is no appreciation and the majority of them are all rude.

But there is no glory in war, so I wouldn't expect soldiers to be praised for what they are doing (at least by these ungrateful kids.)

Half of those comments on youtube videos are made by trolls who dont know what the hell is going on in the government today.

Everyone has the right to freedom of speech. Just let them talk their nonsense.

Thank you family for doing what they have done for this country from me. :)
