How do I become a criminal lawyer in L.A?

I live in the U.K, and am currently studying law at school (we call it college). How would I go about passing the American Bar and finding work in L.A? Should I study law in an english university before moving out there?

unlike the UK, you need a Bachelors degree to attend law school in the US.

However, the law profession is saturated in the US. There are too many lawyers who are citizens who can not find work.

You need a work permit to study law in the US. Those are only granted for fields which are in need. Law is not a needed field.

Studying US law would be a waste of time for you as the legal systems are different. You would not be able to work in the UK with a US law degree
