I'd start with what pansyblue said, but really good luck with that. Video Stores are going on the away side, there only still have handful left that are open. There are not a lot of Blockbuster stores that are near me, I looked at their website and they figure 27 stores near me. Video stores are more closing or have closed. And in less you buy a building if you rent you have to pay every month until your rent is all paid up. And next you will have to get customers to come in, and even have loyal customers keep coming back, so some how you have to promote it. And next you will have to hire people to work in your video store, do you plan to work there for the time you open til you close in a day. And you have to make sure to have a lot of space. Think in a given week a lot of new movies might get released on blu ray and dvd, and somehow you have to get them to have in your store on the day that they are released, which normally is a Tuesday. Another thing comeption, some how you will have to find a way to compete with Netflx, Blockbuster's on-line website, and Redbox. Since you say that there are no video stores open in your area, you won't have to worry about competing with them, but say if there was, say if there was just a couple of Blockbusters video stores that are open, how would you compete with them? Even with your video store being an indecent or a one of a a kind video business, in less you were to open up even more. Somehow you are going to have to come up with a lot of money or $$$$$ to open up the place, and keep it open. And it is also weird that they are still called video stores, since video tapes have been done away with a long time ago, I mean how many video stores have you even see recently with actual video tapes still being rented? Your answer will be pretty much zero.
