How do I sue the makers of Depo-Provera?

I received Depo-Provera Injections beginning in 1997. I discontinued use in 2006 after my OB/GYN informed me that the shot causes the loss of bone density. I was informed that I have Osteopenia as a result of using this birth control method & experienced other side effects. I believe I missed out on the class action lawsuit. I have contacted lawyers in my city but they are no longer taking Depo cases. Does this mean it is too late for me to handle this matter?
