How do you feel about Marijuana becoming more accepted?

Postby iomar » Wed Oct 26, 2011 12:01 am

How do you feel about this? I feel that it's about time. People are starting to see the medicinal values and that it isn't that bad. We all grew up and force fed that all drugs are bad but they don't tell you the good things about the innocent plant. They don't tell us that our founding fathers smoked it and it was a law to grow it in Jamestown, VA. Then the whole it makes you dumb theory >_> yet they don't know alcohol and cigarettes kill brain cells. Hopefully we're on the track to either a full decriminalization (likely) or legalization (not likely but will eventually happen).

i'm happy that it's happening. when we finally legalize it the government can put a tax on it to bring in some revenue. also, smoking cigarettes is way worse than marijuana

Cannabis has been in use for thousands of years. If there really were a human health issue associated with it... we'd know about it already. The DEA is to Chemistry what Astrology is to Astronomy. 1 is a real science and the other is retarded nonsense. And if Cannabis is a schedule 1 "narcotic", having NO accepted medicinal value, why is there a patent for synthetic THC?

AJ: Could you please post your source for the traffic accident data you allude to?

Marijuana is a health risk in my opinion...it make some people act irrational and i have seen many get in car accidents on the stuff...but comparing that to hard core drugs..if there was a province/state choice in voting between the two..I would would mostly choose marijuana over cigarette (filled with ammonia giving one a short term life span) or hard core drugs although you would never see me using it. that stuff make everything around anyone using it smell.
