Straight from microsoft assist: In Windows Vista, click the Commence button , point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Technique Tools, and then click Character Map. In Microsoft Windows XP, click Begin, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Program Tools, and then click Character Map. Note If Character Map is not accessible, see Windows Help for data about how to install a Windows element. In the Font list, click the font that you want to use. Click the unique character that you want. If you don't see the character that you want, attempt clicking one more font in the Font list. Click Choose, and then click Copy. Switch to your document, and then place the cursor exactly where you want to paste the character. Click Paste. If the character looks different from the one particular you selected, select the character and apply the very same font that you chosen in Character Map. Notes If you know the Unicode equivalent of the character that you want to insert, you can insert a special character directly into a document with no using Character Map. To do so, open the document and position the cursor where you want the specific character to seem. Then, with NUM LOCK on, hold down ALT although you press the keys on the numeric keypad to sort the Unicode character worth.
