8/13/10 USA Today: At a time when workers' pay and benefits have stagnated, federal employees' average compensation has grown to more than double what private sector workers earn, a USA TODAY analysis finds.
Federal workers have been awarded bigger average pay and benefit increases than private employees for nine years in a row. The compensation gap between federal and private workers has doubled in the past decade.
Federal civil servants earned average pay and benefits of $123,049 in 2009 while private workers made $61,051 in total compensation, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The data are the latest available.

First please site source. Second " why are you causing class warfare". Third I think police, firemen and teachers do a lot more than someone working at the AT&T call center. Fourth if this is a jab at unions you need not whine about getting payed less then tell people unions are evil. Fifth ido one public school teacher that makes more than 80k a year. Sixth "why are you causing class warfare" yea I said it twice bc you guys are hypocrits.

So your solution is to make workers earn less?

I noticed you don't list any indications of what private executive make as a opposed to top government officials, but here's a hint...no one in the public sector makes thirteen million a year..plus bonuses.

Workers in private industry haven't had a raise, but the executives have done quite nicely awarding themselves an average of fifteen percent this year alone.
Obama wasn't kidding when he said the private sector is doing well, it is, its just not into sharing those profits with the riff-raff.
