How many months ban for an absconding case?

i was deported last april 6,2012 with an absconding case, and undergo for an iris scan in abu dahbi immigration, is it possible that i have a life time ban? as i have read in UAE law, an abscon case can only have a 6 months ban. how come that my friend told a have a life time banned, i did'nt commit any crime, to have it...can i still enter in uae by visit visa?
