How much do corporate lawyers usually make right out of law school?

I am considering studying corporate law and was just wondering what the income range is for a corporate lawyer in their first job out of law school. Thanks

Currently corporate law positions (note this is NOT the same thing as working for a corporation as in-house counsel) pay about $160,000 in New York, a little less in other major cities.

Keep in mind that to have any chance at this kind of job you'll need to be in the top 1/3 to 1/5 of your class at a T14 school. Even then there are no guarantees.
