For your own safety, as well as the safety of other people, please take a firearms safety course. From your question, you apparently aren't familiar enough with firearms to handle a loaded one safely.

We can only hope. If you don't know how to load one, you also don't know how to unload one, and most likely the safety mechanism is also a mystery. Scary, isn't it?
