How To Proceed After Getting Caught Stealing

My issue requires legal legislation for that state-of: I shoplifted a 20.00 product from walmar5t and in the place of acknowledging it i refused it...I was released a summons to surface in court tomorrow...Im scared to death and dont know if i require a lawyer...do i plead guilty?...not guilty?...Ive never actually had a solution before so I've never visited court could somebody please recommend me what to expect.
