Why did your lawyer quit the case? Your probably gonna have to tell your new lawyer. 1) Get a new lawyer its pretty easy now a days. 2) Form your case and work it out with your new lawyer, then re file... The rest is common sense, best of luck take that ***** for all she's worth.

That depends on whether the case was dismissed "with prejudice" or without. If it's without, you can. Read the order of dismissal to find out.

To add onto Trai's answer, it can be refiled if it was dismissed without prejudice AND if the statute of limitations has not ran out.

Most attorneys give a free consultation so go and ask. Also, make sure you have your former attorney's contact info so the new attorney can get information from him/her.
