Okay so my wife has a mental health disorder, i myself have one as well but my mine is light ocd and mild depression i'm getting treated by the VA and cps and does not have a problem with me and sometimes act like they are my best friends although they won't me to go to a parenting class because i'm 25 whatever i won't refuse education and i'm looking forward to the classes although i'm on my second child it never hurts to know more. Enough about me and on with the situation, my wife has epilepsy and bi-polar disorder, cps got involved when a medication switch went wrong and my wife went ape **** through out our neighbor hood and the whole situation was understandable that cps did get involved until medications where under control. That happened we got the kids back for a week, she cheated on me and i got mad so i told my wife i want a divorce she ran out crying. (things are good now after counseling). Anyway cps said due to her doing that she is too unstable for children, they wanted her on more meds, so now everything is upped despite her psychotherapist disagreeing with the increase. its been 3 months and cps has no direction other than me take parenting classes, our house is clean i have gotten complements from cps about my house being one o the cleanest places they have seen, i have also gotten complemented on my parenting skills and my time management skills. cps will not give us a date or even a action plan they recently added that we can only see our children 1 a week unless i divorce my wife and yes they told me several times that "I should just leave her sorry ***". I did quote that correctly. One thing that bugs me is they know that i am atheist and they will only allow and acknowledge me going to a particular parenting class which is religious (the forms for the class want to know your relationship with god. Anyway has anyone at least experience this issue and if so how did it work out?
