I have been denied military recruitment by MEPS due to a head injury in 2006.How can I get by MEPS?

I have tried threw the Air and Army national guard as well as the Marines. I was in an accident in 2006 sustained major frontal lobe swelling of my brain. I have lost no motor skills, I work in construction full time, race enduro dirtbikes, im attending the University of Maine part time and have been cleared by my personal care physician, my nurologist as well as the Dr. that did the work to me after my accident. There was a head injury, broken right thumb,left arm broke in two spots both breakes have titanium plates so can see scars, have a pin in my right foot. I have choosen to leave all metal in my body due to time I would miss from work letting things heal up again after the screws were taken out as well as there being no harm in leaving them in. I have been told by all branches the only reason MEPS in disqualifying me is due to the head injury. I have been at this with the recruiters now for 2 years. Is there anything I can do to get past MEPS?? according to the recruiters there is nothing that can be done so not to bother trying anymore. I am fine physically, I have not so much as had the oppertunity to meet the Dr's face to face and have them test me. What would you recommend I do next??

You need to get a written statement from your Dr. that cleared you explaining the situation of the medical condition that you have and how it wont effect your performance in the military, AND HAVE THEM SIGN IT, then give that paper to your recruiter. then they will send it off to the medical bored, then from there they will determine if you cant join or not.

Im living proof.

I was denied by the navy and army several times. I sent of a written form my me explaining my medical condition and how it won't effect my performance in the military. and they kept on denying me. Until i went to my physician and had them explain my situation in medical terms.

find a military doctor who will give a written statement to the guys at MEPS or find someone high ranking in the military and have em work some magic.

You have been permanently DQ'd from military service. There's nothing you can do to change that, because guess what permanent means?

And your civilian docs know diddly about the military health standards for recruits, so them clearing you doesn't mean anything to the military.

They have clearly passed your files up the chain of command and feel that you are not eligible, there is no getting around it etc etc, if they do not accept your own surgeons word for it than time to face facts the military is NOT going to be your path in life.
