I have Erie Car Insurance, live in PA and the insurance co sent a questionaire and one of the questions was?

Has anyone in the family had a traffic violation in the past 3 yrs? Well, I got a speeding ticket last year and the points were dropped. Are they going to raise our insurance rates because of this? Do I have to put that down or will they be able to find that I had a violation on their own without my input? THanks!
