Ok I have invented something, I am aware the next step is a patent however after that how do I produce it? thank you!

File a provisional patent before you file a patent. It will cover you for a year, and you can legally claim "Patent Pending".

Knowing nothing about what you've invented, I can't give more specific advice. Find someone who knows the area. Is it a consumer product? Plenty of people sell and produce consumer products. Is it a technical device? Find an engineer.
