I have traffic warrant?

Postby luther » Fri Dec 16, 2011 12:10 am

I tried taking care of by setting up a payment plan but the amounts they needed and time was to much for me to afford. Im thinking hiring a traffic lawyer. Is that a good idea? I never go to this county anymore its to far!!! Is there a such thing as a lawyer that will appear on my behalf? The ticket is fta and no license. I live in harris county and the ticket is for bell county.

THere are no state laws for payment plans. They are at the discretion of the court. For that reason, it is not likely an attorney will help you. You are probably better off contacting the court and advising them what you can afford.

Yes, you can have an attorney appear on your behalf, but I am a bit confused on how you could afford an attorney if you can't afford the ticket. Seems that money would be better spend going towards your fine.
