I just got my traffic violation ticket in the mail !?

ok so i ran a red light by accident it was on yellow and i turn on a right turn and boom i got the flashlight and i just got my ticket in the mail.

and its way over my budget i cant afford it at all.
i just want to know is there any way you guys think the judge will lower it since that my first ticket ever and i have a clean record ???...

how can i lower my ticket balance ???
what can happen to me if i do not go to court ??
what should i do ??


someone please help serious answers please and thank you,.

Nope. You will have to pay the whole amount. But they might arrange payments for you.

If you do not go to court, then you have to pay the ticket and go to traffic school. In my state, being sent to traffic school would be really unusual for a first offense other than drunk driving.

You can go to court and talk to the judge. It is unusual for the fine to be reduced, but you can try. If that doesn't work, you can probably get some kind of payment plan so that you don't have to pay it all at once.
