She was suppose to be deported after finishing high school and she is graduating now but the state department gave her reprieve and is letting her goto college under a student visa, probably on our dime. Her visa will be expired in two years after starting college though, so she will be deported if not given another reprieve. Are you kidding me?? She is here from the outset illegally and they give her all these reprieves ... yet she complains. When is enough enough?? We have immigration laws for a reason!!

Illegal have and will always expect special treatment. They will never own up to the laws and rules they have broken. They expect entitlements, freebies and when they don't get those specialties that even our own citizens don't get, they complain, cry, moan and whine.....then they usually play the race card, bash the America that they so desired to come to, and try and come up with any and all excuses, usually based on lies, why they should get to stay.

That's just the way it is.

well, she basically thought she was home free, but that's never actually been the case. this was always a temporary program from the start. it will be up to Congress to deal with to extend it or not. if in fact it isn't extended, she will be deported. by the way, the State Department has never had anything to do with this since she never had a visa. she still doesn't have a visa to go to school or anything else.

People who are granted student visas are required to prove that they can and will pay all their expenses (including tuition) themselves.

ETA: Non-citizens being permanent residents. Part of the requirements for obtaining a student visa is the ability to pay.

Yep, all she gets is free stuff at the taxpayer's expense, and she should be deported right away. People like her are why America is in trouble.

Lmao...then what's your question? Our government does a lot of stupid things(some things we don't even know of), it won't change my dear.

Why are illegals being handed what we everyone else has to actually work for?

Not sure that was really a question, but Amen. I fail to see the point in educating all these kids who, barring some major act of Congress that will cause a Civil War, will never be legal to work in the US.

California DREAM Act, all you folks who don't seem to understand that in at least one state migrant youth DO get tax-payer funded grants (not loans, GRANTS) to go to university. I don't expect everyone to be up on every state's differing laws but the passage of this one was a biggie so you'd think people interested in this subject would know about it. That is all.

The USA does not pay for illegal immigrants to go to college.

"probably on our dime"

YOU ARE WRONG.
