When I look around I see all sorts of universities saying how Applied Mathematics is in high demand. Some even mention CIA, NSA, FBI and other popular branches of government law enforcement. I'm well aware of the fact that an actual FBI agent who works in the field needs more of law/criminal justice background. This isn't what I had in mind. I was thinking there has to be some kind of computer/office job, working directly for the FBI, but not necessarily as a field agent, that this degree might qualify me for. Does anyone have any idea what those kinds of jobs might be and what the specific requirements on it are?
