I'm trying my best to get a job because my parents are forcing me, why is it hard to get a job?

My dad was a pediatric surgeon until he killed a 5 year old child because of a fatal mistake, he lost his medical licenses because of malpractice and he had to give the child's parents $500,000 because the toddler's parents sued my dad and they won the lawsuit. If he didn't give the child's parents the money, he would of gone to either jail or prison but he said he wouldn't and gave the money to the parents. After he lost his job, they had to sell the 2 story house and we now live in a rental trailer because we couldn't afford to own another home. My dad tried to find another job, but many places won't hire him after they heard the story about that child's fatal surgery mistake. My mom still works as a manager at Walmart, but she and my dad said it wasn't good enough so my parents are making me get a job to help them out with bills. My parents even told my little sister to make tons of necklaces & bracelets to sell for money to help pay bills and she's only 7 years old. I'm only 16 and I already put in at least 30 applications for past 6 months and still haven't gotten a job yet, I'm doing the best I can but my parents are pressuring me to get a job really soon. My parents said they're going to even home school me so I can work full time and I can still get my high school diploma. Recently my mom called me "worthless", "lazy", and "hopeless"...that hurts my feelings after she said that, I been putting in applications in stores and online but haven't got a job yet. They both recently got angry at me every single day for past 2 weeks because I haven't gotten a job yet. What should I do? I'm doing the best I can and my parents said "it's not good enough, get a job now!".
