I can't decide whether i want to be a psychiatrist or an intellectual property attorney. I like both and could see myself becoming either one. But the problem is, I know you obviously have to be good as science and math to being to get into and do good in medical school. I hate math and science and i'm not very good at it. I am however very good at liberal arts-like subjects.

Considering the information above, should I even consider going to medical school? Or is law school a better option for me? I know neither one of them is easy, but since I hate science and math and do well in other subjects like language, social science, history, etc would law school be better for me?

I think you u have some confusion....
My opinion.......Never choose a career based on subjects u like...
Ask ur self what r u seeing ur self in the future? visualize the life style u want to be in the future. What will make u happy in ur life....pay some efforts and take a paper and write what will really suit u. save the efforts u pay in thinking about subjects....

I am a career and outplacement consultant and I would like to help you with the following information.

I would suggest that you find a copy of the Occupational Outlook Handbook. You can find it at the bookstore, online or at the library. It lists all jobs, the requirements for each including the education needed and the salaries that are paid for the job. It also tells you whether or not the job will be in demand in the future. This should give you a look at the jobs you mention in your questions.

There is a hugh difference between the two jobs you mention, but they both require a hugh commitment of time and education before you can get started so please make sure you research them well before you decide.

My last suggestion would be that you contact people in both of these professions and ask them questions that will help you with your decision.

I would go for law school if math and science aren't your stronger points.
