I need help with my first day of High school.?

So before I get started, I would like to say I am a straight A student and graduated first in my class in 8th grade. I want to enjoy high school while also getting to learn and prepare for college. So High school is coming up and I will only know 4 people from middle school at my high school. One is my ex-girlfriend who is still my close friend, and three random people I never talked to. I was always quite at my last school which I think led people to think I wasn't confident but I actually just didn't like anyone at my last school so I didn't talk. I will be in the Senior band as the first chair euphonium player. I also was supposed to be in the varsity team for my high school but couldn't show up for the team practices so I am dropping out. Really I just want to know how to prepare and what to do on my first day of school. I basically know no one and really don't know what to expect. I am very busy right now working on writing a book and also playing on the state team for Illinois.

huny well first year wich u will be a freshman and some students well seniors the sometimes teased the freshman cuz they Always the last wen there's an activity they would start from seniors and oo send the rest.

Anyway, most people in high school don't know anybody in their classes so everyone is a little worried. The easiest way to make friends is to be approachable and friendly. When you SI down in class just say hi to the person that's sitting next to you, you never know if that will spark some sort of conversation.

You ready have something arts related so why not try out for a sports team? I know you said you were supposed to be on varsity but there is nothing wrong with playing on the JV or freshmen team.

Unlike the other poster said, seniors won't usually bother you unless you are in their way or annoy them. At my school it's like "stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours"

As far as the first day goes just pack a pen, notebook, pencil and folder and run your morning routine the night before. Making friends in High school really isn't hard as long as you put in a minimal amount of effort.

Well you seem like your not going to have many friends (No offense) yyour problem is that you think your too good to chill with ppl so unless if you can get passed that you won't have friends
